Q: How long is the run?
A: The run will be approximately 3.9 miles

Q: Can I walk?

A: Yes, you can run or walk!

Q: Will the run be timed?
A: No, this is an untimed event.

Q: Are dogs and baby strollers allowed?
A: Yes, but please be respectful of other participants. Slower runners should remain to the right of the course.

Q: Are bicycles allowed?
A: No, for the safety of all participants, bicycles will not be allowed. The only wheels allowed will be wheelchairs and baby strollers.

Q: Will there be water stations on the course?
A: Aid stations with water will be available on the course.

Q: Will bathrooms be available?
A: Yes, there will be bathrooms at the start/finish.

Q: Do I have to run through the color?
A: No, you will be allowed to run around the color.

Q: Is there a post-race party?
A: There will be refreshments available at the end of the race. There will be an opportunity for you to take pictures and awards will be presented.

Q: Can I wear headphones?
A: Headphones are not prohibited but are strongly discouraged. Participants who wear headphones must remain aware of safety vehicles, race officials, traffic and other runners.

Q: Can I register the morning of the race?
A: Yes, registration will be available starting at 6:30 on October 8, 2016. Registration will close 10 minutes before the start.

Q: What time does the race start?
A: The race will begin at 8:00 am

Q: Will there be first aid?
A: Yes, the New Waverly Fire Department will be on hand as First Responders and the New Waverly High School Sports Medicine Students and School Trainer.

Q: Where is the start and finish?
A: Dye for Dogs will begin and finish at New Waverly High School.

Q: Will there be photography?
A: There will not be an official race photographer, but you are encouraged to capture the race with your own camera and be aware that others will be photographing the event for their own memories!

Q: What if it rains?
A: The event will be held, only if conditions are safe for all participants. All attempts will be made to reschedule the event, but there is no guarantee.
